Our Debate Team

In our FYS class, we were divided up into debate teams for our mock trials and explanations of trials and other events.

Our team was made up by Patrick Horn, Robyn Pitt, Kaitlin Birchmier, Michelle Jordan, and myself.

Patrick Horn is from Raleigh N.C., has lived in North Carolina his entire life and is an avid UNC basketball fan. Besides UNC basketball, Patrick is passionate about almost all sports and intends to one day work in the sports journalism field. He is a member of High Point's club golf team and likes to play sports in his free time.

Robyn Pitt is from North Carolina and is majoring in Graphic design. She is an incredibly accomplished student with an impressive resume and work ethic. She considers herself a philanthropist, learner, and seeker of the world.

Kaitlin Birchmier is also from North Carolina and is a Communications major with a focus on Sports Management. She is a fan of sports and electric media. Kaitlin has a fair amount of work experience and hopes to one day start her own business.

Michelle Jordan currently lives in North Carolina, but is originally from Maine. She is a Criminal Justice major and plans to one day be a Juvenile Probation officer in N.C. She has spent her entire life working to achieve this goal and I'm sure will soon as her work ethic is evident by the fact she works 40 hour weeks currently. Michelle loves dogs and her family.
